Visitor Attributes
Share anonymous visitor signals like age range, gender, and income bracket so Koah can serve more relevant ads.
On Android you set visitor attributes through the Kotlin API below. See Visitor Attributes for what they are, the privacy posture, the bucket list, persistence, and when to clear.
Age range
Set visitor age as an exact value, a custom range, or a predefined bucket—use whichever fits your data and privacy needs. See Age range buckets in the reference for the full list of predefined buckets.
// Pick the bucket closest to the visitor's age
Koah.instance.setAgeRange(KoahAgeRange.AGE_25_TO_29)
Clearing the stored attribute
Pass KoahAgeRange.UNKNOWN to clear a previously set age range:
Koah.instance.setAgeRange(KoahAgeRange.UNKNOWN)
Gender
Pass KoahGender.MALE or KoahGender.FEMALE. See Gender values in the reference.
Koah.instance.setGender(KoahGender.FEMALE)
Clearing the stored attribute
Koah.instance.setGender(KoahGender.UNKNOWN)
Income bracket
Pass the visitor's annual household income bracket. See Income brackets in the reference for the full list.
Koah.instance.setIncomeBracket(KoahIncomeBracket.INCOME_50K_TO_100K)
Clearing the stored attribute
Koah.instance.setIncomeBracket(KoahIncomeBracket.UNKNOWN)
UNKNOWN clears the value stored on this device so it stops being sent — it
does not delete a value already sent to Koah.
See Visitor Attributes for when to clear and how values persist across launches.
